Ken Mc Elhinney

Ken is a Chartered Engineer and brings over 20 years of technical experience to Connected Energy as Technical Director. He is highly qualified in the area of energy conservation and holds the following titles:

• Certified Energy Auditor and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional with the Association of Energy Engineers.
• Registered Energy Auditor with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
• Project Developer and Quality Assurance Provider with the Investor Confidence Project Europe.

Ken has developed highly successful energy conservation projects in Ireland, UK and Middle East which have led to significant energy, cost and CO2 reductions.

Prior to joining Connected Energy Ken was managing director of KMCE Engineering, a successful Consulting Engineering company which developed innovative solutions in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration and Energy sectors. In the past he worked with Varming Consulting Engineers, Jacobs Engineers and was Associate Director of Mc Carrick Woods before founding KMCE Engineering.

Ken qualified in Building Services Engineering at Honours Degree level from Dublin Institute of Technology. He has also achieved a H.Dip in Software Development with Dublin Business School.
